FAQ

  • My child is under 3 or over 6, can I still come to The Carlton Club workshop?

Yes of course! We plan our sessions for this age range, but if your child loves being creative, the resources are so open-ended we are sure they will have much fun!

  • My child has SEND needs? Will this event be suitable?

Yes, our workshops are very relaxed with little pressure. Your child is welcome to join in at their own pace. We’ve had feedback from SEND parents that our workshops are very accessible. It’s a space for children to make whatever they wish, making it inclusive. You’re more than welcome to contact us if you would like more answers on this. We are both experienced educators and have worked with many children with different needs.

  • Do you do home ed sessions?

All children are welcome at any of our sessions. We currently have a Friday session at Pink where many home-ed children have attended and loved.

  • Is there parking available for the different locations?

At The Carlton Club, there is free on-street parking.

At Pink, there is a car park outside the venue with a charge. Public transport is accessible with a bus and train station close by.

  • I'm an artist, can I collaborate with you?

Yes, please get in touch! We would love to work with different local artists.

  • I'm worried about my child getting messy. Do you have any protective clothing?

We provide puddle suits for the children to wear. However, please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy.

  • For the outdoor workshops, if the weather is bad, do you stay outside?

This is dependent on the availability of indoor rooms and the resources we are bringing. We will use gazebos if the weather is rainy and have puddlesuits available.

  • Do you do birthday parties?

Currently, we don’t host birthday parties. We have a busy work schedule, but this could change in the future.

  • Can we hire Manchester’s Little Artists for an event or festival?

Yes, we would love to! We have worked with Manchester International Festival, National Trust and Swinton Sounds Festival. We would love to collaborate with more organisations.

  • Do you do reduced rate tickets for low-income families?

Please contact us, we want to make our workshops accessible for everyone!

  • I have a 3 year old and a young baby. Do I need to buy a ticket for the baby?

At The Carlton Club, no, as the workshops are aimed for 3-6 year olds.

At PINK, yes, as this is for under 5s, and we always have lots of baby art sensory materials available.
